Lighthouse is an inclusive international school offering Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education for young learners. We are committed to providing a high-quality, child-centered education that recognizes and nurtures the unique strengths, interests, and learning styles of every child. Most of our educators are certified by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), equipping them with specialized knowledge in supporting diverse learners

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. For children who may not flourish in traditional educational settings, Lighthouse provides a meaningful alternative—an environment where individualized support, inclusion, and evidence-based teaching practices come together to help each learner reach their full potential. We partner with families to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging community where children can learn with confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and experience the joy of learning alongside others.

What is inclusion?

Inclusion means ensuring that everyone has equal access to opportunities and feels welcomed. It supports people of all abilities, backgrounds, identities, and neurodiverse conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Down syndrome, fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance.

インクルージョンとは？

インクルージョンとは、すべての人が平等に機会へアクセスでき、安心して受け入れられていると感じられる環境をつくることです。

一人ひとりの能力、背景、個性を尊重し、自閉スペクトラム症（ASD）、ADHD、ダウン症などの多様な発達特性を持つ人を含め、すべての人が「自分はここにいてよい」と感じられる、つながりと受容のある社会を育むことを大切にしています。
