Strawberry Picking and Andersen Park Museum
February 13, 2026
What an amazing day we had on our recent trip to the strawberry farm and Andersen Park Museum!
It was an early start at Lighthouse International School, but the excitement was already buzzing. We packed our bags, put on our smiles, and hopped on the bus ready for our adventure. The ride itself was part of the fun, as we turned the bus into a concert hall, singing our favorite songs all the way to Oka no ue no ichigoen!
When we arrived at the strawberry farm, a field of bright red, pink and dark red gems awaited us! Everyone got their baskets and began the exciting hunt for the perfect, juicy strawberries. It was a wonderful opportunity to share special moments with our friends and teachers as we compared our finds. Our friends loved tasting the different varieties available, and there was so much joy in seeing them enjoy every single sweet berry they picked. It was truly a perfect, delicious time spent together.
After filling our tummies (and our baskets!) with strawberries, our journey took us to the spectacular Andersen Park. This massive park is famous for its incredible play areas, and we headed straight for the heart of the action, the magnificent slide castle! The structure was so big and amazing that our friends couldn't wait to explore every corner.
To top off our day, the food stalls at the park offered some delicious treats! Everyone was happy to choose their favorite snacks, giving us the energy we needed after all that running and playing.
When it was finally time to head back to Lighthouse, the bus ride was much quieter. Many of our friends were happily tired out from a day packed with fun, and they "snoozed" their way home. It was a beautiful, successful day, creating wonderful memories of fun, friendship, and adventure that we will cherish!
